Our House
The Kappa House is a large multi-unit apartment building with one main common room and 10 four-bedroom apartments. As the on-campus apartment housing for the Delta Beta chapter is only three years old, we continue to make many progressive changes to take greater advantage of this space on campus. Our chapter has worked with Duke Housing to plan sisterhood events such as a house-wide manicure/pedicure outing and a sorority-wide Thanksgiving dinner in the common room, to name a few. Additionally, our chapter added a brand new Kappa themed bench outside of the house that we're very excited to paint in the coming academic year. Our sisters host a "Kappa Keypsakes" night every week in the common room to discuss personal experiences and struggles and further develop the support system within our chapter. In the spirit of making the house a more comfortable and inviting space, we are also organizing a gift registry for the common room. Having a section of Duke's campus dedicated for our chapter has been a wonderful opportunity for the sisters of Delta Beta to become an even more close-knit community.
